A big change that has happened over the last two weeks is MOVEMENT!! I can definitely feel the little guy's kicks!! This past Friday Greg felt him for the first time!! My eyes instantly teared up, it was so exciting for him to be able to have contact with him now too! Since then he has felt him once more, and Marissa got a big kick to the hand today too.We also had our 20 week ultrasound which is where they take all the baby's detailed measurements to make sure he is growing properly. Our guy is measuring 6 days ahead, which didn't surprise me one bit. He also didn't sit still the entire ultrasound and was making it almost impossible for the technician to get any decent pictures. Everything looked great though!!! They did find two small cysts on his brain called choroid plexus cysts. Our doctor didn't seemed concerned at all, and said they usually disappear by the third trimester. We do have to go in next week for a level II ultrasound where they will have a better look. Please send positive thoughts to the little guy!!
The day after our ultrasound Greg and I took on our registry! Man were we clueless!! :) I had no idea how much stuff we are going to need! They gave us a checklist and we went through every item and mindlessly wandered the aisles. In the end we are really happy with what we came up with. It's been an exciting few weeks, and we are trucking right along. Only 135 days to go! :)
