Speaking of house. We have moved!!! We found a really wonderful tenant for our home, and have found a larger place a mile up the road from where we used to live. Nathan finally has his own room and more space to play, it's been a nice change, but boy was the move ever exhausting...everything happened so quickly. I have a feeling we will still be living out of boxes for awhile.
We also experienced our first heartbreak of a sick baby. Nathan has never had so much as a sniffle until this past week. The doctor thought it could have been Rotovirus. It would have made sense, because a day later Mommy and Daddy were extremely sick as well. It only lasted 48 hours for each of us, but it was debilitating!! My poor little guy didn't know what hit him. He wouldn't eat, wouldn't nurse, and without getting into too much nasty detail...he couldn't hold anything in if he was able to. He got to sleep on me for two nights in a row. We both needed it.
I won't even get into the disaster of my work schedule the last two weeks. This blog is about Nathan, not his insane mom that tries to run a full time business while taking care of him.
I promised myself, and my boys, that Memoral Day weekend we would all take a break together. Put the unpacking aside, don't think or speak of work, and just enjoy ourselves, our friends, and the outdoors. This is exactly what we did! We had two bbqs with our friends, took Nathan swimming for the first time, and spent a day at Disneyland. Here are some pictures from the brighter days of an otherwise stormy few weeks! Enjoy!
It took him a minute or two to figure out how he felt about the pool, but once he got used to it he didn't want out! He was laughing, splashing, and kicking his feet like crazy! We had a blast!

This was from the Jungle Cruise ride at Disneyland! He LOVED going on all the rides. We actually took him on Pirates of the Caribean as his first ride! I totally forgot it had two drops and seriously loud music and noises. Of course our little daredevil loved every second of it!! Wish we took more pictures at Disney, but we will be back in a few weeks I'm sure!

The perfect end to the perfect long weekend. Naps and Mojitos...need I say more?
