First Haircut

There was no denying that Nathan has been known for his big fluffy hair and his side-swiped bangs, but the day had finally come for...his first haircut!! I was so nervous walking in, and almost told Greg I wanted to turn around and go home because I wasn't ready for this. I don't know why it felt like such a big deal to me. I was just so nervous he wouldn't look like my baby anymore.

We went through with it though and he did such a wonderful job! The woman who cut his hair thanked us, and said her day is typically filled with crying kids and she would be happy to cut his hair any day. She gave him some toys to play with, he got to sit in a his very own airplane, and of course there was a cookie in each hand. We kept a lock of his hair, and even got a cute certificate saying he got his very first haircut there!

She took off A LOT of hair....a lot! I was a bit shocked at first, and couldn't believe how different he looked, but I love it now. He officially looks like a toddler, and well...on Sunday, he will be one!
